Tips and Techniques – Unusual OTP’s

The Tips this week is actually quite specific – instead of saying to you “go out to Vinnies and be inspired” I am saying “Go and get a box of Petaloo flowers so that you can take to flowers out and scrap the Box!”…

LOL – well, need I say more?

I was given a box of Petaloo flowers and once I had taken the flowers out there was a cool box to scrap – with a picture window and everything!

The best part of this is that you can change the photo inside all the time and just scrap the outside!

You need:
Petaloo flower box
Photo for cropping
Adhesive
Decorations and embellishment for the box
Paint and Ink.

Cut your photo down to size to fit inside the box.

Brush white paint in a cross motion on the top edges of the box, just to make it have a bit of texture. Then start embellishing your box with large letters as the first layer, then flourishes and/or chipboard, and lastly, flowers and gems…

And then you have a finished product! Ta Da!

You could use this for a number of things – simply decorative (pop it on the shelf in your bedroom or office), as a lolly container with the title “Sweet THing”, as an ATC card holder and so on!!
