This may sound strange , but office supplies have taken on new significance. I have seen a few cool tips using paper clips and other bits around the place, but I really like this Tip as a quick way to use up some of those smaller photos hanging around in your stash – and talk about QUICK! Did I say QUICK?!
You Need:
Small photo (I used a 2 x 3 inch poprtrait orientation pic)
Medium sized flower and small flower
Bulldog clip(s) (they need to be of medium size in order to have a bit of weight to them).
Spare cardboard or chipboard
Adhesive and ink
Step One:
Matte the photo on to the spare cardboard or chipboard – it needs the extra support for when it is being held by the clip.
Ink all the edges of the photo and chipboard together.
Step Two:
Fold the medium flower in half (petals facing outwards) and place on the bottom right hand corner of the photo. Use the Bulldog clip to hold it in place and then place the small flower on top (see pic).
Step Three:
Embellish with a few stickers, fold the end of the clip up onto the photo and VOILA! You have a super quick desk decoration – not to mention cheap as chips, too. You may have to play around with the “balance” of the photo in the clip, but the whole thing should stand on the clip’s flat side.
Have fun girls – how about making one for each member of the family?
